With the set of objects and utilities provided by SQL Server Data Transformation Services (DTS), Taction helps clients to allow the automation of extract, transform and load operations to or from a database. DTS allows data to be loaded and transformed from heterogeneous sources using OLE DB, ODBC, or text-only files, into any supported database. Data Transformation Services (DTS) can help you import, export, and/or transform data from various sources to single or multiple locations in Microsoft SQL Server 2000. In addition, DTS provides an alternate method of version control and backup for packages when used in conjunction with a version control system, such as Microsoft Visual Source Safe,DTS along with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), a platform for data integration and workflow applications, Taction gets the work of an ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) to perform a broad range of data data warehousing and migration tasks.
